1. Start up all your powered landscape equipment. Repair any tools that are not running at top notch. Re-fill you gas jugs with fresh gas and mix oil. Sharpen any tools that were missed last fall. Replace air filters. It is better to sort this out now than when the grass is growing like crazy!

I like that you warned against over fertilizing your lawn during the spring. Too much of a good thing can cause some issues with your landscape if you don't know what you are doing. If you don't have the knowledge or time you can always hire someone as well.

I like that you said that installing a water sensor can help you save money when raining. My dad has a big backyard and he said he needs to find a bigger sprinkler for it. I'm going to help him look online for sprinklers.
